     Our team, which at the time of its inception 12 years ago was one of the youngest in the industry, has rapidly risen to the top through its commitment to understanding its clients and their long term goals. It's a pleasure to e-meet you, I'm Jay.

Born in the remote french island of New Caledonia in the South Pacific, my parents took me all over the world growing up living on 4 different continents criss-crossing the globe since the age of 1, changing environments and adapting to a variety of different cultures and spaces every couple years, because of their love for travel and adventure. It was not  easy as a child having to start and stop life all so often, but it's in the end been an incredible education and eye opener to understand and cater to  people from so many different backgrounds. It's given me the powerful ability in real estate on one hand to genuinely want to fully understand you and the goals you've set out for your family, and on the other hand understand and influence the other side during negotiations to win on your behalf.

     Prior to being invited to join nationwide leading firm Compass Real Estate Los Angeles offices by industry veteran Aaron Kirman (at the time LA top luxury brokerage John Aaroe Group acquired by Compass in 2018), I took on, early on in my real estate career, team leadership roles managing small agent teams at Sotheby's International Realty and Keller Williams. 

      Armed with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Marketing and Finance with minors in Civil Engineering and Statistics through studies in Australia, the US and Hong Kong, I compose well researched and thought out sales strategies for any client who wants to win in Today's LA and Palm Springs sophisticated real estate markets. In terms of marketing tools, my added experience in Information Technology (prior to real estate) leading teams of programmers at an international innovative tech company based in LA and Colombia gives me and you the ability to leverage the most current and best tech tools out there to market your property successfully in today's digital an social media  age.

Hailing from a humble farming village near the breathtaking UNESCO Ifugao Rice Terraces in the Philippines, my journey in pursuit of my meaning led me to our vibrant city of Los Angeles. Here, the birth of my unrelenting passion for people, culture, architecture, design, and homes fully blossomed.


With my CPA background, working for respected private equity and hedge funds on the West side, I spent these golden years appreciating the undeniable and unlimited value of real estate in every American’s wealth and happiness. My breakthrough came after meeting my partner, Jay Martinez, who started his career during the Great Recession yet catapulted into becoming the Rookie of the Year! My heart yearned for something more I could see, touch, and feel—people and their homes! Jay Martinez inspired me to take this new adventure, and the rest was history. For the past 12 years, I’ve woven dreams and opportunities into reality for the many wonderful people I met along the way, and I am grateful for their help in shaping who I am today. Buying or selling a home isn’t just transactional—it’s what makes me come alive, bringing a sense of joy to my clients and making me their lifelong partner in real estate.

In every home I close, challenges never fail to rise to the occasion, but I am always ready to roll up my sleeves and thrive on finding solutions to get deals done. Your goals become my mission. Discovering new culinary flavors to connect with cultures or embracing how blessed we are to have our Earth, while diving with unbelievable giant manta rays in the Coral Sea, is where my soul thrives.

Iris' deep appreciation for design began at an early age and ultimately led to her earning a degree in History of Architecture at the University of California, Santa Barbara. That appreciation carried over first to a career in the fashion industry. In that luxury sales environment, she cultivated many skills that now support her real estate business. She has a discerning eye, a knack for identifying trends in the marketplace and the ability to be a sharp negotiator. 

Iris' passion for constantly expanding her knowledge of the LA market, neighborhoods and architecture gives her a unique and informed insight to identify opportunities. Iris appreciates being able to combine her skills with the resources at Compass to deliver results for both buyers and sellers. In her free time, you will find Iris dancing salsa all over LA or researching her next international adventure. Brent is an Estates Agent at Compass, specifically a Senior Associate Partner with LHspaces. With nearly a decade of real estate experience, Brent has had the opportunity to collaborate with high-end building companies not only in sales, but also as a designer. Brent’s experience of running a successful team team of five has established him as a hands-on agent who is caring, persistent, and knowledgeable about luxury real estate.
